Paris Streets

Alright, this will be the last post about Paris.  You won’t have to think about it for a long time, unless you want to.

This post has a simple theme.  I think you’ve already gotten that from the title.  These are views of Paris streets and a quick look at the places we’ve been around Paris.

Making photos while travelling with two kids is not easy.. we’ve had holidays where I “miss” so many photos.  Our kids are getting a bit older, now, and have even gotten interested in using cameras and making photos themselves(that will be another post), and maybe I’m also getting better at juggling kids and cameras simultaneously.  Either way, I really made some photos that I enjoy and make me “feel” Paris, even now that I am back home in the Netherlands. (Well, home is Wisconsin for me and Rome, for my husband – but the Netherlands is our home.)

A view of Place Vendome.

My favourite street.  Rue Daguerre.

A restaurant we ate at for lunch.  Very typical cafe.

Here are a few views of the Metro.  If you haven’t ever been to Paris and even thought about using the Metro – you should.  Paris, has the best transit system anywhere in Europe.

Waiting for an exhibit to open.

A very happy man, checking out, at K-Mart (the Japanese grocery) in Paris.

And, this, really happened.  You see it, right?  A denim suit, crossing the street in front of Hotel du Louvre.

Arc du Triomphe.

Before the lunch rush.

And not only in the US to men oggle over motorcycles, no, they do it here, too; they all had a sit on it.

The obligatory view of the Tour Eiffel.  And that’s all.  No more talk of Paris.  I promise – for a week at least!
